Nunca lograremos tener los que deseamos (lo que queremos), porque no nos detenemos lo suficiente para sembrar, hacer germinar, ayudar a crecer (regar) y mantener (nutrir o abonar) lo que poseemos. ¿Como podremos ser fieles en lo mucho, si en lo poco no lo somos? Tal vez es por eso que nuestros campos no producen!
"13 !!Vamos ahora! los que decís: Hoy y mañana iremos a tal ciudad, y estaremos allá un año, y traficaremos, y ganaremos;
14 cuando no sabéis lo que será mañana. Porque ¿qué es vuestra vida? Ciertamente es neblina que se aparece por un poco de tiempo, y luego se desvanece.
15 En lugar de lo cual deberíais decir: Si el Señor quiere, viviremos y haremos esto o aquello.
16 Pero ahora os jactáis en vuestras soberbias. Toda jactancia semejante es mala..." ( Santiago 4:13-16)
We will never obtain what we want (wish), because we do not stay quiet enough to plant, to spring, to help grow (watering) and to maintain (nurturing) what we have. How can we faithful in the greater things if we are not faithful enough in what we have? Maybe that is the reason why are fields are barren!
"13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will[g] go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; 14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. 15 Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” 16 But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil..." (James 4:13-16)
