There is something called Biblical Prophecy or Eschatology, which is a discipline of theology that studies prophetic events. Many have issued conflicting prophecies about the Presidency of Mr. Donald J. Trump, some even to the point of heresy. Whether this presidency is directly or indirectly related to Biblical Prophecies, only God knows such relationship. But there is something called "normalcy" of daily events, whether social, economic, religious and or political, those are the events that pertain to the normal affairs of a nation, a society, a community, a family or a person. In our case a nation that has a democratic structure of representative government that are ELECTED by the people, that is for the people and of the people.
Some prophesied that Mr. Trump is some sort of "savior" while others prophesied that he is the anti-Christ. The same cycle of prophecies happened when George Bush and Mr. Obama were elected as presidents by the citizens of the United States. Some prophesied that Bush was an "anti-Christ." Others prophesied that Obama was some sort of "Messiah" while others prophesied that he was the anti-Christ.
In reference to the Biblical Prophecies, the center of attention of last day events IS NOT the United States, but Israel. Latter days world events point to be watchful of what Jesus said in reference to Israel: 32 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors!" (Matt. 24:32-33)
Most scholars agree that this prophecy cited by Christ, is related to Israel, which is considered the hands of the clock of God. Therefore, instead of speculating about certain prophetic passages in the Scriptures and irresponsibly force some sort of prophetic interpretation upon those passages, and the fulfillment, let us continue doing what God advises us to do: "Watch and pray..."
Mark 13:32-33New King James Version (NKJV) 32 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33 Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is." And is referring to the actual moment of His glorious appearing.
And let us continue doing what ever pleases God, that when Jesus come, he may find us so doing. "45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give
them food in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. 47 Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods." (Matt. 24:45-47) The presidency of this nation is part of the normal affairs of the nation. And it may be, that the U S is in the mix of the fulfillment of general last days prophecies (the statue of the vision of Nabuchadnezzer), but believe me, Mr. Trump is no savior, he is not the anti-christ, and he is not Cyrus. He is simply a person elected by the people, as provided by the system of check and balances established by the Founders of the Republic in the Constitution. He, as any other previous president of this nation, will be at the scrutiny of God, and will give account to God for his words, his actions and his decisions. As well, as you and I.
